9/11 Attacks—20 Years Later and What Have We Learned???

After 9/11 America responded with military might and the cry, “We Will Never Forget.” Today is the twentieth anniversary of the September 11, 2001, Muslim terrorist attacks on the New York World Trade Center Towers, the Pentagon and Flight 93, which resulted in the death of almost 3,000 innocent Americans. We also remember the first responders who so selflessly and without hesitation, answered the call to rescue those who were trapped, many of whom lost their own lives in the collapsing towers.

So, as the American People remember the 20th anniversary of 9/11, incompetent and cowardly anti-American Washington Politicians continue to insult the memory of 9/11. These politicians have learned nothing from 9/11 nor history.

For 20 years the evil of political Islam has increased its sway within our borders. It has infiltrated every aspect of our society, including our schools and universities, both political parties, Hollywood, mainstream media, cultural elite, and major corporations.

So, how effective has America’s response to 9/11 been in 20 years?

20 years later… World leaders have unashamedly proclaimed the big lie that Islam is a “religion of peace,” including former Presidents Obama, Bush and Clinton.

20 years later… Jihadists are within America’s borders training members how to carry out terrorist attacks.

20 years later… American public schools have become less about education and more about ideological indoctrination, including Islamic Sharia Law teaching our children to recite the Shahada, the Islamic conversion creed: “There is no god except Allah and Prophet Muhammad is his messenger.” Parents who speak out about this Islamic indoctrination are condemned by school officials and their own communities.

The progeny of the pilgrims, seeking a land in which they could freely exercise their faith without threat of imprisonment or execution…

20 years later… students are not being taught the truth about the 9/11 attack and the role of Islamic jihadists perpetrating the attack.

20 years later… victims of the 9/11 attack are still dying from the poisonous dust from Ground Zero.

20 years later… The Muslim Brotherhood, which vows to destroy America from within, continues to grow in influence and operate within our borders.

20 years later… CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations), which vows to make the Koran the highest authority in America and was listed as an unindicted co-conspirator in a terrorism trial, still exists and is embraced in leftist political circles and corporate media.

20 years later… Islamists are still persecuting and slaughtering thousands of innocent Christians throughout the world.

20 years later… the Taliban has greater territorial control of Afghanistan than it did in 2001. They are also better armed, with billions of dollars in U.S military equipment and weaponry that President Biden had our soldiers leave behind during his disastrous evacuation.

20 years later… the Taliban has American hostages it did not have in 2001. Hostages President Biden abandoned. Hostages the Taliban will use to barter for more money and weapons to use to commit terrorist attacks.

20 years later… our Armed Forces just finished fighting in Afghanistan, the longest war in America’s history, and many Americans are still trapped there.

20 years later… Russia, China and Iran are preparing to recognize the Taliban’s rule over Afghanistan.

20 years later… Turkey hates our guts, formed an alliance with Russia and Iran, and seeks to re-institute the Ottoman Empire.

20 years later… we continue to resettle anti-America Islamist refugees at taxpayer expense who do not want to assimilate into our country.

20 years later… the Biden administration is forcing unvetted Afghan evacuees onto unsuspecting American communities.

20 years later… the Biden administration is allowing young girls suspected of being child-brides to remain with adult Afghan male arrivals.

In July 2021, the US military left Bagram Airfield – its key base in Afghanistan – after nearly 20 years. At its height, Bagram base was home to tens of thousands of US troops.

Four out of the five ex-Guantanamo Bay inmates in exchange for Army deserter Bowe Bergdahl are named as top leaders in Afghanistan’s new Taliban government. It also included a wanted terrorist and many of the same faces from its pre-9/11 regime.

Now China is looking to make a move for Bagram and trying to use Pakistan to get stronger to go against India. America’s enemies, including Russia, are looking at how they can capitalize on Biden’s blunder and his continued demonstrations of weak leadership; our former allies are moving against what used to be the world’s superpower, the USA.

Despite the fact we have no effective way of vetting “Muslim refugees”, we are allowing thousands of Muslims to enter who have no intent on assimilating, along with those who want to destroy us. The Taliban, al Qaeda and ISIS are continuing to use this “refugee” chain to build their Jihadist network in Western countries.

It’s about taking to heart the lesson we should have learned that day in 2001—Islam’s goal is to destroy America, what they call the “big Satan”, along with the values embodied in our Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights. Because many Americans have forgotten that lesson, Islam’s plan for civilization jihad is advancing. Islam is defeating us from within, without firing a shot.

Islam has fought a religious war against Christianity for over 1400 years. Yet many “woke” and historically challenged Christians welcome them with open arms as an act of charity. The continued weakening of America’s founding principles and the fortitude of Americans willing to resist its destruction is approaching unless we take to heart the lessons from the greatest attack on U.S. soil twenty years ago.

15 Popes whose ‘Islamophobia’ saved the Christian World from Muslim Takeover

Popes on Islam is about 15 popes whose “Islamophobia” saved the Christian World from Muslim takeover. I found the article posted on Father Mario Alexis Portella’s Blog (The Great Architect). Father Portella is a native New Yorker who currently serves as chancellor of the Archdiocese of Florence, Italy.

Popes were formidable warriors against Islam. Several popes organized Christian armies to confront Muslims on the battlefield, saving whole cities of Christians from a life of slavery, forced conversion, or submission under dhimmitude. Other popes sent spiritual armies out into the mission fields of the Muslim world with one goal in mind—convert them to Christ.

Two popes actually led Christian armies into battle against their Muslim foes.

Popes On Islam

Pope Francis in 2013 declared: “Faced with disconcerting episodes of violent fundamentalism, our respect for true followers of Islam should lead us to avoid hateful generalizations, for authentic Islam and the proper reading of the Koran are opposed to every form of violence.”

As Andrew Bieszad, author of Lions of the Faith: Saints, Blesseds, and Heroes of the Catholic Faith in the Struggle with Islam, stated: Popes are certainly free to have personal opinions. A pope’s opinions, however, when shared with the public, carry more weight because of the authority of his office than would the opinions of another, lesser prelate. His words — particularly when expressed not through an interview or sermon, but an official document — signal, at least implicitly, that his opinion is in fact the belief of the Church. This has a real impact on the understanding of whatever issue is being touched upon, for both Catholics and non-Catholics alike. His predecessors, however, have historically sustained quite a different perspective and approach to Islam.

There have been 196 popes from Muhammad’s death until now (Honorius to Francis). Now it would take a very long time to go over the life, history and experience that each pope has had with Islam. However, make no mistake about it, not only is the Catholic Church the greatest defender against Islam throughout history, but the popes of the Catholic Church are the greatest leaders in bringing Christians of all denominations together to fight against the Islamists of each age and, when followed, to bring Christians to victory over the Muslims. That is also to say that what you see happening today with Pope Francis is not only an anomaly but in direct contradiction—even against the very teachings—of the popes over the past 1400 years.

Pope Donus (676-678) is apparently the first pope on record who addressed the Islamic problem. When the Islamic conquests were taking place, many Christians fled their ancestral homelands in the Middle East to Europe and Sicily. Many of these people were monks because Islam has a particular dislike of them. He gave refuge in Rome to Nestorian monks—people who belonged to a sect condemned as heretical by the Church and were fleeing Muslim conquests of Syria.

St. Gregory III (731-741) During the Islamic conquests of the eighth century, the popes were intimately involved in both the spiritual and military struggle with Ishmael’s armies. St. Gregory II (715-731) prayed and called for Christians to take up spiritual arms against the Muslims and is credited with slowing the Muslim advance by his prayers and by those who answered his call to prayer. St. Gregory III (731-741) continued the mission of his predecessor but also took up the military struggle against Islam when he petitioned and convinced the great Frankish general Charles Martel to fight the Muslims at Tours, France, in 732 in the “battle that saved Western civilization” from Islamization and drove the Muslims back over the Pyrenees into Spain and kept them there for centuries. His successor, St. Zachary (741-752), noticed the increase in the slave trade with the arrival of Islam, and he realized that even Christians, especially those in Venice, were involved in selling other Christians to Muslims. Horrified at this act, he immediately banned Venetian and all Christian merchants from selling slaves to the Muslims, and not only that but he ransomed the slaves they were going to sell. His successor, Stephen II (752-757), recognized the continual threat posed by Islamic armies and petitioned the Franks for further action against Islam. Not only that, but he also worked with the Byzantines to coordinate a Franco-Byzantine alliance against Islam. This would be one of many precursory events to the Crusades.

St. Zachary (741-752) As is well documented, wherever Islam goes slavery follows, and specifically the horrible institution of sex slavery, as that was the primary reason for it. It was Pope Adrian I (772-795) who not only maintained St. Zachary’s anti-slavery position, calling the Muslims the “unspeakable race of Saracens,” but aggressively petitioned the Franks to continue in their fight against Islam and not relent in the least because of the absolute danger which it continued to pose.

St. Leo IV (847-855) Tensions remained between the Muslim and Catholic world for the next half century until it exploded in 846. The pope of that time, Sergius II (844-847) was severely criticized not because he was against Islam but because he did not take any precautionary measures to prepare militarily for the Muslim attacks in 846. After the death of Sergius, Pope St. Leo IV not only performed spiritual war against the Muslims but he aggressively prepared militarily and, when the Muslims invaded again, he himself went into battle against the Muslims at the Battle of Ostia and helped lead the Catholics to victory.

St. Nicholas I (858-867) With the Muslims defeated in Italy and driven away, the Pope then began rebuilding Italy and preparing it for the next attack. This included military preparations as well as rebuilding the churches destroyed by the Muslims, as they were a common target of assault due to the hatred which Islam so intensely possessed for the Faith. His work was continued by Pope Benedict III (855-858) who directed repairs to churches damaged by the Muslims in the city of Rome. Popes St. Nicholas I (858-867) and Adrian II (867-872), likewise followed in St. Leo IV’s example and fought against the Muslims in southern Italy with Emperor Louis II.

Pope Marinus I (882-884) He banned any social or economic intercourse between Christians and Muslims. Unfortunately, while the popes were working very hard against Islam’s advances, there were many fellow Christians who literally did nothing. In fact, some were even forming alliances with the Muslims and fighting against fellow Christians. The popes were the first ones to combat this, beginning with John VIII (872-882), who banned Christians from allying with Muslims and even proved his example by fighting against those people. His successor in Pope Marinus I (882-884) reinforced John VII’s ban on alliances and even extended it to merely conducting any business with Muslims.

St. Adrian III (884-885) He had established alliances in the East and West to fight the Muslims. All of this work was very important, because by separating the Muslim alliances with unbelieving and even apostate Catholics, the popes purified the Church and prepared the way for a century of continual war against the sons of Ishmael. Pope St. Adrian III (884-885) summoned alliances with Frankish ruler Charles the Fat to fight the Muslims in Spain. Since his papacy was short lived, his successor Stephen V (885-891) worked with the Byzantines to coordinate naval assaults against Muslim targets and especially Muslim pirates, which resulted in a countless number of Christian slaves being freed from a sure life of horror. Pope John X (914-928) himself went into battle against the Muslims at the Battle of Garigliano and led the Church to victory. His successor Leo VI (928-929) continued to fight against the Muslim raiders and even taught that Christians who die fighting Muslims will go to heaven. In addition, later successors such as Benedict VII (974-983) pushed for missions to Muslims in Tunisia and North Africa.

Blessed Urban II (1088-1099) had called for the First Crusade. The eleventh century was the turning point for the popes. They had recognized and had been fighting militarily against the Muslims for four centuries at this point, but they realized the problem was much deeper. If the Islamic threat was to be effectively destroyed then the Islamic heresy had to be uprooted in its native Arabian land and, specifically, the Holy Land. Pope Sergius IV (1009-1012) issued the first papal bull calling for the expulsion of Muslims from the Holy Land following the horrific persecutions of Caliph Al-Hakam in Egypt against the Christians. Pope Alexander II (1061-1073) called for a crusade against Spanish Muslims, and his successor St. Gregory VII (1073-1085) planned for the First Crusade. However, this call would not be realized until the reign of Blessed Urban II (1088-1099), who issued the formal call at Clermont in November 1095.

Blessed Eugene III (1145-1153) called for the Second Crusade. As Europe entered the next two hundred years of crusades to the Holy Land, all popes played some role by the fact of the existence of the movement. However, some popes stood out more than others during this period. It was Paschal II (1099-1118) and Honorius II (1124-1130) who gave their approval to the Knights Templar Catholic military order. Blessed Eugene III (1145-1153) called for the Second Crusade, Clement III (1187-1191) called for the Third Crusade, Celestine III (1191-1198) confirmed the Teutonic Knights as a crusader order, Innocent III (1189-1216) pushed for both crusades against Muslims in Spain as well as supported initially the Fourth Crusade, and Honorius III (1216-1227) instituted the Fifth Crusade.

Blessed Gregory X (1271-1276) tried to form a Catholic-Mongol alliance. In addition to forging crusades, the popes also worked aggressively to form alliances to fight the Muslims with non-European powers. Five successive popes, Innocent IV (1243-1254), Alexander IV (1254-1261), Clement IV (1264-1268), Blessed Gregory X (1271-1276) and John XXI (1276-1277) tried to forge an alliance with the Mongolian hordes in order to create a unified front to confront the Muslims. Unfortunately, this crusade never materialized. Nevertheless, there were some good fruits, as this also marked the first instance of massive Catholic missions to the East. These men sent the first missionaries but in the years after the destruction of the crusader states in 1291 the Pope pressed even more aggressively for missionary work in the East. Two such popes were Nicholas IV (1288-1292) and Clement V (1305-1314). They worked extensively with Blessed John of Montecorvino, a missionary who converted over ten thousand Muslims and pagans to the Catholic Faith throughout China, Central Asia, Pakistan and Iran.

Callixtus III (1455-1458) instituted the ringing of church bells at noon so that Christians remembered to pray for the Crusaders to Belgrade and in perpetual memory of their victory in 1456. As the Church moved into the 15th century, the situation became more desperate in Europe with the rise of a new and dangerous power—the Ottoman Empire. The “Turkish menace” as it was called threatened to overtake all of Europe and posed an existential threat to Christendom. Realizing this danger, the popes stepped into action. Boniface IX (1389-1404) tried for a crusade to help the Byzantine Empire but the corruption of the emperors of that time proved to be its greatest obstruction. Martin V (1417-1431) organized a crusade to North Africa and successfully freed Christian slaves captured by Muslim pirates. His successor Eugene IV (1431-1447) organized a crusade to Bulgaria and to Syria to help Christians there against the Muslims. Pope Nicholas V (1447-1455) issued a papal bull saying that Christians are to attack Muslims and Islamic territories wherever they may be found. Callixtus III (1455-1458) pushed for a crusade to Serbia, which prevented the Islamization of Belgrade in 1456 and it was he who instituted the ringing of church bells at noon, so that Christians everywhere would remember to pray for the crusaders as well as to remember this victory. His successor Pius II (1458-1464) attempted to convert Ottoman Sultan Mehmet II (“The Conqueror”), but when that failed he continued the wars against the Turks, this time supporting the Albanian Muslim turned Catholic convert Iskander Beg, known as Skanderbeg. His successor Sixtus IV (1471-1484) executed a brief crusade to Smyrna against the Turks, and following him Innocent VIII (1484-1492) tried to organize a greater action but to no avail.

St. Pius V (1566-1572) defeated the Muslims at the Battle at Lepanto. Following this period, the Pope’s actions directed specifically against Islam decreased because of another threat: Protestantism. The Protestant movement, which was funded in part by the Ottomans, was particularly devastating because it smashed the union of Christendom, which was already weakened, and thus set Catholics versus apostate Catholics against each other and prevented the Church from dealing effectively with the Ottomans. Nevertheless, the Turkish threat remained real, and in spite of the difficulties, the popes still had to and did successfully confront it. Pope Adrian VI (1522-1523) continued to call for war against the Turks. When the Ottoman navy, the most powerful in the world at its time, threatened to overrun Christendom it was St. Pius V (1566-1572) who called for a Catholic League to confront the Ottomans in 1571 at Lepanto, where they won a resounding victory that permanently disabled the Ottoman Empire’s absolute dominance of the Mediterranean.

Blessed Innocent XI (1676-1679) who defeated the Muslims at Vienna. While the fighting continued, it would be nearly a century later that the Turkish menace would again pose an existential threat to Christendom with the invasion of Eastern Europe pushing into Central Europe. Pope Clement IX (1667-1669) worked against the Turkish naval powers, while his successor Clement X (1670-1676) helped fund Poland’s war against the Ottoman raids into Polish and Austrian territory. Yet it would not be until Blessed Innocent XI (1676-1689), who finally, having seen the Ottoman siege of Vienna in 1683, convinced yet again a coalition of Polish, German, and Italian Catholics to confront and defeat the Ottomans at the Battle of Vienna in which not only did they emerge victorious but the Ottoman Empire and Muslim world went into a period of decline for several centuries.

Blessed Pius IX (1846-1878) From the 18th century onward, there is little in the way of Catholic military action against the Muslims, since most of the work was spent in missions to Muslim lands. Innocent XIII (1721-1724) was possibly one of the last popes to militarily assist Catholics against the Turks, in this case assisting the island of Malta against Turkish attacks. But by the 19th century and with the conflicts in Europe, the popes were mostly reduced to diplomatic work with Muslims, such as Blessed Pius IX’s (1846-1878) and Benedict XV’s (1914-1922) attempt to assist the Christians in fleeing the Ottoman Empire in light of the impending genocide the Turks were planning that culminated in the murders of 1917.

St. John Paul II (1978-2005) in 1983 attended the 300th anniversary of the defeat of the Ottoman forces at the Battle of Vienna (though his focus at that time was still on repression in Eastern Europe). Yet in his attempt to legitimize Islam’s religious role in society, he not only kissed the Quran during a visit to Syria but was the first pope to visit and pray inside a mosque as part of a Christian pilgrimage since within the Syrian Ummayyad mosque there is a shrine believed to have the head of St. John the Baptist.

Pope Benedict XVI (2005-2013) In 1997, when the Pope was still Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger and beginning his seventeenth year as Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, otherwise known as the Holy Office, he told the German journalist Peter Seewald, “Islam has a total organization of life that is completely different from ours; it embraces simply everything…One has to have a clear understanding that it is not simply a denomination that can be included in the free realm of pluralistic society.”

As pope he pursued diplomacy with Muslim countries in order to seek some common moral ground. Yet, with respect to Islam he will always be known for his famous Regensburg Address in 2006 where he stated: “The emperor [Manuel II] must have known that surah 2, 256 reads: ‘There is no compulsion in religion.’ According to some of the experts, this is probably one of the suras of the early period when Mohammed was still powerless and under threat. But naturally the emperor also knew the instructions, developed later and recorded in the Quran, concerning holy war. Without descending to details, such as the difference in treatment accorded to those who have the “Book” and the ‘infidels,’ he addresses his interlocutor with a startling brusqueness, a brusqueness that we find unacceptable, on the central question about the relationship between religion and violence in general, saying: ‘Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached.’ The emperor, after having expressed himself so forcefully, goes on to explain in detail the reasons why spreading the faith through violence is something unreasonable. Violence is incompatible with the nature of God and the nature of the soul.”

Benedict’s address set off a worldwide uproar and violence in the Islamic world, to which then-Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio (future Pope Francis) stated: “These statements will serve only to destroy in twenty seconds the careful construction of a relationship with Islam that Pope John Paul II built over the last twenty years.” He added that Benedict’s statements “don’t reflect my own opinions.”

U.S. Supreme Court Declines to Resolve Public Schools’ Double Standard in Promoting Islam while Disparaging Christianity

ANN ARBOR, MI—The U.S. Supreme Court today declined to review the case of Caleigh Wood, a Christian eleventh-grade public high school student in Maryland who, despite threats of receiving a failing grade, refused to deny her faith by making a written profession of the Muslim conversion prayer known as the Shahada—“There is no god but Allah and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.”

She was also forced to view a series of pro-Islamic PowerPoint slides, including one that stated, “Most Muslims’ faith is stronger than the average Christian.” The high school’s content specialist, Jack Tuttle, testified that use of such comparative statement was inappropriate and that he would have advised the teacher not to use it. Nevertheless, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals opined that the teaching did not violate the Establishment Clause.

The Thomas More Law Center (“TMLC”), a national nonprofit public interest law firm based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, represented Caleigh Wood in the federal lawsuit against LaPlata High School. Richard Thompson, president and chief counsel of the Law Center, commented on the Supreme Court’s refusal to hear the case:

“I’m not aware of any public school which has forced a Muslim student to write the Lord’s Prayer or John 3:16: ‘For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.’”

Thompson continued, “Yet, under the pretext of teaching history or social studies, public schools across America are promoting the religion of Islam in ways that would never be tolerated for Christianity or any other religion. It’s disappointing that the Supreme Court did not take this opportunity to clarify the test which lower courts should use when ruling on establishment clause and free speech challenges to public school classes on religion.”

The legal question at stake was whether La Plata High School violated the First Amendment’s Establishment and Free Speech Clauses when it gave Caleigh Wood an assignment she was unable to complete without violating her religious conscience as a Christian.

She believes it is a sin to profess the existence of any other god but the Christian God. She stood firm in her Christian beliefs and was punished for it. School officials refused her father’s request that she be allowed to opt-out or be given an alternative assignment. She refused to complete her anti-Christian assignment and consequently received a failing grade.

Thompson added: “Many public schools have become hot beds of Islamic propaganda. Teaching Islam in schools has gone far beyond a basic history lesson. Prompted by zealous Islamic activism and emboldened by confusing court decisions, schools are now bending over backwards to promote Islam while at the same time denigrating Christianity.”

“Although the Supreme Court passed up an opportunity to provide clearer constitutional guidance on this important issue, there will be other chances as this issue isn’t going away anytime soon,” he said.

Many schools have become willing instruments of Islamic indoctrination. And in Caleigh Wood’s case, the weapon of choice was the PowerPoint presentation, which included the following statements:

“Most Muslim’s faith is stronger than the average Christian.”
“Islam at heart is a peaceful religion.”
Jihad is a “personal struggle in devotion to Islam, especially involving spiritual discipline.”
“To Muslims, Allah is the same God that is worshiped in Christianity and Judaism.”
“Men are the managers of the affairs of women” and “Righteous women are therefore obedient.”

Remember 9/11—A call to action

Today America marks the 18^th anniversary of 9/11 with solemn ceremonies. As one people we said we would never forget that day. Nearly 3,000 lives were lost amid the smoldering ruins of the Twin Towers, at the Pentagon and on a grassy knoll in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

Our first responders showed incredible bravery. American flags were flying everywhere. Young and old left their jobs to enlist in the military.

But remembering 9/11 is more than a once-a-year ceremony.

It’s about taking to heart the lesson we should have learned that day—Islam’s goal is to destroy America and the values embodied in our Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights. Because many Americans have forgotten that lesson, Islam’s plan for civilization jihad is working. Islam is defeating us from within, without firing a shot.

Instead of tolerating this evil ideology, we should heed the words of Abraham Lincoln in his 1838 speech. “As a nation of freemen we must live through all time or die by suicide.”

So, on this 18^th anniversary of 9/11 let us keep the flame of retribution burning in our hearts.

Sharia Law now exists in many towns, universities, public schools and corporations. When American citizens are afraid to speak out against Islam, they have already submitted to the first rule of Sharia Law—a ban on all speech deemed offensive to Islam and Muslims.

Presidents Bush, Obama and Clinton, as well as other political and religious leaders, have unashamedly proclaimed the big lie that “Islam is a religion of peace.”

Schools across our nation have become Islamic indoctrination centers teaching students that Islam is a religion of peace and tolerance. They teach students the Five Pillars of Islam and the Islamic conversion creed, “There is no god but Allah and Muhammad is his messenger.” Parents who speak out against this Islamic indoctrination are condemned by school officials and their own communities.

Public school systems like the Novi School District in Michigan pay professional Islamic propagandists to present mandatory training seminars to their teachers where Islam is glorified, Christianity disparaged, and America bashed—all in the name of diversity and multiculturalism.

Christian religious leaders preaching love invite Muslim clerics into their churches. They naively think that by petting the tiger they will change it into a pussy cat. Never mind the 1,400 years of mortal combat between Christianity and Islam.

We now elect Muslims to Congress who take the oath of office with their hands on the Koran, then use their positions to spew anti-Semitic and anti-American hatred while attempting to whitewash the memory of 9/11.

On this 18^th anniversary of 9/11 we honor all those who answered our nation’s call to arms and the first responders. Take the time this 9/11 to remember the brave American soldiers who were killed, wounded or are still suffering, as a result of the wars against Islamic terrorists in Afghanistan, Iraq and other places. Also remember the sacrifices made by our committed law enforcement.

Pray for all our men and women who are in harm’s way today defending our nation.

Thomas More Law Center Uncovers Taxpayer-funded Islamic Propaganda Forced on Teachers – A SPECIAL INVESTIGATIVE REPORT

ANN ARBOR, MI – The Thomas More Law Center (TMLC), a national nonprofit public interest law firm based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, has uncovered evidence of a well-orchestrated Islamic propaganda campaign aimed at teachers in school systems throughout Michigan and several other states.

Concerned about a two-day mandatory teacher-training seminar on Islam conducted by a Muslim consultant hired by Michigan’s Novi Community Schools District, TMLC filed a Freedom of Information Act request for documents related to the workshop.

Richard Thompson, president and chief counsel of the Law Center, commented on the results of their investigation, “We found that the teachers were subjected to two days of Islamic propaganda, where Islam was glorified, Christianity disparaged, and America bashed—all funded by Novi taxpayers.”

Moreover, during the past five years the school district has presented no teacher-training seminars focusing on Christianity, Judaism or any other religion – only Islam.

The hired Muslim consultant was Huda Essa, a resident of the Dearborn area and of Arab descent. She appeared before the Novi teachers in a hijab, the Muslim headscarf, billing herself as an expert in “cultural competency” and “culturally responsive teaching.”

Most disappointing was the fact that of the more than 400 teachers attending the workshop, not one teacher challenged Essa’s denigration of Christianity or attacks on America.

TMLC inspected dozens of internal school documents, including audio recordings of Essa’s presentation.

The information on Islam she provided to Novi teachers was riddled with falsehoods and errors of omission that were clearly meant to deceive.

Essa provided no truthful information on Sharia law and jihad, two of the most important aspects of Islam. All references to terrorism were dismissed as having nothing to do with Islam. White Christian males, she suggested, are more dangerous than Islamic radicals.

Essa is the face behind Culture Links LLC, a Michigan-based consultancy. She describes herself on the Culture Links website as an advocate of social justice who encourages children to “take pride in their many identities.”

But, as TMLC discovered from the Novi documents, the one identity Essa does not celebrate is that of patriotic Americans who believe in our nation’s exceptionalism.

And her message extends far beyond Novi.

Essa’s client list reveals she has been spreading her “trash America first” philosophy to colleges, universities, schools and professional educator associations throughout Michigan, California, Georgia, Texas, Florida and beyond. In Michigan alone her website lists nine school districts as clients – Oakland County Schools, Ann Arbor Schools, L’Anse Creuse Public Schools, Plymouth-Canton Community Schools, Roseville Community Schools, Farmington Public Schools, Dearborn Public Schools, Birmingham Public Schools and Melvindale Public Schools.

Under the banner of promoting diversity, inclusion and a multicultural approach to education, Essa sets about comparing Islam to Christianity, calling them “mostly similar.” The one big difference, she claims, is that Islam is the world’s “only purely monotheistic religion.”

Islam’s holy book, the Koran, came straight from Allah to the prophet Muhammad and, unlike the Jewish and Christian scriptures, has never been altered or changed, she told the Novi teachers. Significantly, the Koran commands Muslims to “Fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, harass them, lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war.” (Koran 9:5)

Her message was clear: The Koran is superior to the Bible. But she did not address the fact that it calls for the extermination of Christian and Jews.

While quick to indict America as guilty of “cultural genocide,” Essa was silent on the 1400 years of actual genocides, also known as jihads, in which Muslims wiped out Jewish tribes on the Arabian Peninsula, and slaughtered millions of Christians throughout the Middle East, North Africa and the European Continent. Referring to Islam, Winston Churchill wrote, “No stronger retrograde force exists in the world.”

Novi’s Islamic teacher-training is just the latest example of professional Islamic indoctrinators infiltrating U.S. public schools even as Christianity has been forced out of the classroom.

“This type of infiltration amounts to an Islamic Trojan horse within our public-school systems,” Thompson said. “No other religion gets this kind of special treatment in our schools.”

Only action by patriotic American parents will put a stop to the indoctrination of teachers and students. They must attend school board meetings and call their board’s attention to the existence of unconstitutional Islamic propaganda whenever they find evidence of it in their children’s schools. And when their board is unresponsive, they must be willing to take legal action to stop it whenever the law permits.

TMLC has several active cases involving public schools bending over backwards to promote Islam while trashing Christianity.

In New Jersey, seventh-grade students at Chatham Middle School were taught “Islam is the true faith,” required to learn the Shahada, or Muslim creed, and forced to watch videos that sought to convert them.

TMLC is representing another student at La Plata High School in Maryland, where pupils in world-history classes were taught that “Most Muslims’ faith is stronger than the average Christian” and “Islam at heart is a peaceful religion.”

Jihad, meanwhile, was introduced to La Plata students as a “personal” spiritual struggle, having nothing to do with using violence to spread the faith. And, like in New Jersey, the Maryland students were forced to learn the Five Pillars of Islam and memorize the Shahada.

A SERIES OF DECEPTIONS

Essa spent a great deal of time in her Novi presentation talking about Muslim women, whom she described as victims of Islamophobia on the part of bigoted Americans.

She said her own mother’s decision to wear the hijab was met with “rage” from random Americans. Other hijab-wearing Muslim women have been spat upon, had hot liquids poured on them, been beaten and even killed because they wear the hijab, Essa said, without giving details of when or where these atrocities supposedly occurred.

Essa presented no statistics on hate crimes to back up her claims. FBI crime stats show that anti-Muslim attacks are relatively rare in America and actually fell by 17 percent in 2017. Anti-Jewish hate crimes that year out-numbered anti-Muslim offenses by nearly four to one.

Globally, Christians are the most persecuted of all religious groups, according to the watchdog Open Doors. Of the top-ten most dangerous countries to be a Christian, all but two of them are Muslim-majority nations, according to Open Doors’ 2019 World Watch List.

But Essa’s attempts to con Novi teachers into accepting her anti-American, pro-Islamic worldview didn’t stop with the idea that Muslims are the most persecuted and victimized people.

She said any poor treatment of women in Islamic countries should be attributed to “cultural” differences, not the religion of Islam.

She failed to mention that Muhammad, Islam’s prophet, is reported to have said that the majority of hell would be populated by women (hadith by Sahih Bukhari Vol. 1:28, 301, Vol. 2:161, Vol. 7:124-126). Also absent from her presentation was the Koranic instruction for husbands to beat a disobedient wife (Sura 4:34).

Exercising the art of deception, Essa said Muslims love Jesus and refer to him as “messiah.”

But the word “messiah” has a different meaning for Muslims than for Christians. When Christians speak of Jesus their Messiah, they are referring to God’s “anointed One,” who has the power to forgive sin and grant salvation.

Muslims confer no such divine authority to their Jesus. Under Islam Jesus was only a man, a lower prophet under Muhammad, not the Son of God, and he did not die on a cross or rise from the dead as documented in the gospels.

Essa hammered Novi teachers with the Islamic teaching that the Jewish and Christian scriptures are not to be trusted. Although once pure, they were gradually “corrupted” by unscrupulous men. Only the Koran contains the final, “pure” words of God, she said.

Essa also schooled teachers in the proper use of the phrase “Allahu Akbar!” or “Allah is greatest!” While this is widely known as battle-cry of Muslim terrorists, Essa said it’s really just a refrain that Muslims use to convey feelings of happiness, sadness, anger, or thankfulness while praising Allah.

Essa said the word “Islam” is an offshoot of the Arabic term “Salaam,” which means peace. This is a common ploy used by Muslim apologists to deceive uninformed Westerners.

“Islam” is more accurately translated as “submission” and good Muslims know they must submit to Allah and his Sharia (Islamic law), above all other systems of law.

Essa noted Islam is the world’s fastest-growing religion without mentioning that Muslims are forbidden from leaving the faith. Considered apostates, those leaving the faith are subject to severe punishment, up to and including death. And forced conversions have been a well-documented fact of history.

The Middle East and North Africa, once overwhelmingly Christian, were Islamized by a series of jihads starting with Muhammad, his successor caliphs and later by the Ottoman Turks.

She completely ignored the jihadi terrorist attacks conducted on U.S. soil: The 9/11 attack that murdered nearly 3,000 people, the Fort Hood massacre of 12 U.S. soldiers, the Pulse Nightclub attack that killed 49 Americans in Orlando, the San Bernardino attack that killed 14 at a Christmas party, the Chattanooga shooting that killed five at a Navy recruitment and reserve center, the Boston Marathon bombing that killed three and left hundreds wounded, and the Chelsea, New York, pipe-bombing that injured 30 innocent Americans. Not to mention the countless terror attacks that have been foiled by the FBI.

Here are some other facts uncovered by TMLC’s Freedom of Information Act requests:

Novi school district has no guidelines for the selection of presenters for teacher-training events.
The school district did not fully vet Huda Essa before selecting her as a presenter and providing her with data about the school district and its students.
Essa was given access to data from student and teacher surveys.
The school district said it had no records that would indicate it ever conducted a factual analysis of Essa’s presentation.
The school district signed a contract on August 2, 2017, agreeing to pay Essa $5,000 for her two-day seminar on August 28 and 29, 2017.

Thomas More Law Center Asks Supreme Court To Decide How Far Schools Can Promote Islam And Disparage Christianity

ANN ARBOR, MI – As a Christian and 11^th-grader at La Plata High School in Maryland, Caleigh Wood was taught that “Most Muslims’ faith is stronger than the average Christian.” She was also required to profess in writing, the Islamic conversion creed, “There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.” Ms. Wood believed that it is a sin to profess by word or in writing, that there is any other god except the Christian God. She stood firm in her Christian beliefs and was punished for it. The school refused her request to opt-out or give her an alternative assignment. She refused to complete her anti-Christian assignment and consequently received a failing grade.

As a result, in January 2016, the Thomas More Law Center (TMLC), a national public interest law firm based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, filed a federal lawsuit on behalf of Ms. Wood claiming the school had violated the First Amendment Establishment Clause and her right not to be forced to profess faith in another religion. Both the Federal District Court and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled in favor of the High School’s Islamic curriculum.

In response, on Monday of this week, (May 13), TMLC filed a Petition for Writ of Certiorari asking the Supreme Court to decide whether any legal basis exists to allow public schools to discriminate against Christianity while at the same time promote Islam.

Richard Thompson, TMLC’s President and Chief Counsel, observed: “Under the guise of teaching history or social studies, public schools across America are promoting the religion of Islam in ways that would never be tolerated for Christianity or any other religion. I’m not aware of any school which has forced a Muslim student to write the Lord’s Prayer or John 3:16: ‘For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.’”

On the other hand, schools have become willing instruments of Islamic indoctrination, and in Caleigh Wood’s case, the weapon of choice was the PowerPoint presentation. Caleigh and her 11^th grade classmates were taught:

“Most Muslim’s faith is stronger than the average Christian.”

“Islam at heart is a peaceful religion.”

Jihad is a “personal struggle in devotion to Islam, especially involving spiritual discipline.”

“To Muslims, Allah is the same God that is worshiped in Christianity and Judaism.”

“Men are the managers of the affairs of women” and “Righteous women are therefore obedient.”

Those statements came directly from the PowerPoint presentation to Caleigh’s class. The underlining was in the PowerPoint.

Thompson continued: “Many public schools have become a hot bed of Islamic propaganda. Teaching Islam in schools has gone far beyond a basic history lesson. Prompted by zealous Islamic activism and emboldened by confusing court decisions, schools are now bending over backwards to promote Islam while at the same time denigrate Christianity. We are asking the Supreme Court to provide the necessary legal guidance to resolve the insidious discrimination against Christians in our public schools.”
